3, 4 and 5-Axis programming and setting problems have been solved by combining the full features of the sophisticated Heian-Fanuc control, with a simple and quick CAD/CAM system, "Heian-QuickSurf 3-D", designed specifically for 3D machining, profiling, boring and modelling.

The CAM facilities have been developed with a strong input from users and experienced CNC Machine Programmers.

5-Axis Boring and Routing is made simple and quick, as are the routing facilities which include setting cutter type and machining styles. Lead angle, tool approach, tangential, offset and perpendicular to the surface, etc., can all be precisely specified to create the 5-Axis NC file automatically.

For simple drilling patterns, 2D plane selection is also provided.
